~ Aloha Real Love Family,
I'd like to post these up as a reminder:
Parenting/Leadership
is not complicated:
* Love them
* Teach them
* Have faith
* Occasionally apply consequences
The First Principle of
Parenting/Leadership:
More than anything else,
my child or whomever
needs to feel loved.
The Second Principle of
Parenting/ Leadership:
When my child or whomever
behaves badly, he or she
doesn't feel loved.
The Third Principle of
Parenting/ Leadership:
When I'm angry, I'm wrong.
The Fourth Principle of
Parenting/ Leadership:
I can't give what I don't have
I must find Real Love for myself.
The Fifth Principle of
Parenting/ Leadership:
My child or whomever needs
to be loved & taught.
The Sixth Principle of
Parenting/Leadership:
After my child or whomever has
been loved and taught, he
or she must be loved & taught again.
The Seventh Principle of
Parenting/Leadership:
~ The Law of Choice ~
The Eight Principle of
Parenting/Leadership:
~ Happiness comes from being Loving ~
The Ninth Principle of:
Parenting/Leadership:
~ Happiness comes from being Responsible ~
Consequences in
Parenting/Leadership:
* Never applied in anger
* Goal is to inconvenience & motivate
* Natural (result of choice made)
* Discussed beforehand
I'll be the first to admit that I need these reminders.
I am constantly going through my "Pearls" on a daily basis.
By posting them, I also have them handy here, too.
I need to remember that Unconditional Love flows
downward from the parent to the child-never from the
child to the parent. If your child loves you unconditionally
accept that as a gift and learn what it is that they know
so that you may become more loving & happier, too.
Parenting is measured by the love your children feel,
the example you are leaving for them to follow and
pass on as well. Love & teach, then love & teach them again.
~ Sincerely Robin ~
