Hello everyone. I had a concern I was hoping someone here could help me with.
During the course of my partners work, she'll do something I and many others consider unethical. She says that it's easy money, and it doesn't effect her at all, so why not? Without going into much detail, I'll just say that it upsets me on a deep level. I should certainly speak with her about it, and I have every intention to do just that. The possibility of her refusing to change this behavior is creating in me a great anxiety. I want to love her unconditionally, but this is making it extremely difficult. What do you do in instances such as these? Any thoughts?

One way to recognixe behaviors of others and why they use them is to remember that it's ALWAYS about Real Love or the lack of it.
More than likely, since she is not the one posting, I can only share with you what I've learned about TRUTH-telling.
We tell the TRUTH about our own uses of Getting & Protecting behaviors
in an attempt to SEE clearly what it is that we do to contribute to our own unhappiness.
Since you can't control or change the behaviors of others, we can also SEE them clearly
as they use theirs, Does that make sense?
I can SEE that she may be empty, lonely & fearful which is why she does what she does.
It doesn't make her less lovable or acceptable to you does it?
That's the real question, here.
It's not about ethics, it's about how able you are to love & accept her.
Can you SEE this clearly?
You may need to equip yourself with more Real Love before you can extend your hand out to her in order to help her to SEE what she is doing to create her own unhappiness.
Sometimes, when others suffer the consequences of their behaviors they will learn a valued lesson.
Sometimes, their mistakes are just none of our business.
Whichever brings you the most happiness in any given moment is what is worth pursuing.
Hope that helps you to keep Real Love at the forefront of ALL your interactions.
